OpenVox SWG2008 series wireless gateways include functionality with GSM, WCDMA and the LTE band. The SWG2008 series gateways comes with a built-in powerful Intel 4-core CPU with incredible processing capacity. SWG-2008 series wireless gateways support multiple codecs, including G.711U, G.711A, GSM, G.722, G.723, G.726, G.729 multiple coding. It also support SMS message sending, receiving, group sending and SMS to E-mail. The SWG2008 series gateways is 100% compatible with Asterisk, 3CX, FreePBX, Elastix, Issabel and FreeSWITCH SIP servers and VOS VoIP operating platform.
The SWG2008 Gateway replaces the GW1202 platform. This uses the 2nd Gen Modules namely GWM420G (GSM), GWM420W (WCDMA) and GWM420L (LTE). Older GWM400 series modules are NOT compatible with this new SWG2008 2nd Gen Wireless Gateway.
